• Email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter or write to us through the contact form.
• Messages you send us (name, email, topic and message text).
• Usage data such as pages viewed, recipe view and like counts, and the country-of-the-week counter. These counts are not linked to your identity.
• Data stored in your browser: saved recipes, likes, your Cooking Passport stamps and your cookie choice. This stays on your device (local storage) and is not sent to us.

How we use it

• To send the newsletter you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To answer your messages and fix recipe errors you report.
• To keep the site working, understand which recipes are popular, and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

Services we use

We rely on trusted providers to run the site: hosting (such as Vercel), a database (MongoDB Atlas), image hosting (Cloudinary), email delivery (SMTP) and advertising (Google AdSense). They process data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep data

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer you and keep a record. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
